Flooring
is completed in mid December.
Framing begins with
help from our two future Habitat homeowners. Homeowners do sweat equity after they are selected to be Habitat partners, but
before they complete and move into their new houses.
3rd week of December
Volunteers head home after another productive day on the site. As you can see, the
house is coming along! Ceiling joists are next.
Thanks to cooperating weather, our regular crew of volunteers and our Brick Memorial High School Habitat Chapter volunteers, the house is progressing faster than anyone anticipated. The pictures below take us up to Christmas 2011.
January Progress
As January Winds Down...
As January comes to an end, volunteers installed the front door, windows, sliding door, and attic steps.
The HVAC work has also begun.
The electric work will also begin shortly.
