Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity Restore Gets a Facelift
 "People Helping People"

Josh Lech has many ambitions. He wants to go to college, serve his church and continue to help meet the needs of others less fortunate. There was one other goal that Josh set for himself back in 2004 when he joined Scouts - to become an Eagle Scout.
As a member of Troop # 82 in Jackson, Josh has held many positions but when he had to decide on his Eagle Scout Project, he thought of one that will impact many people throughout Northern Ocean County.
NOHFH Restore, located in Toms River serves our communities in various ways. Slightly used furniture and household goods that are donated to the store provide beautiful furnishings to those who may not otherwise be able to afford them. Donating goods helps the environment by recycling items that may otherwise be be thrown out and most importantly, provides funding that aids Habitat in the construction and revitalization of homes in our community.
Josh recognized that part of the Restore was underutilized due to the poor condition of the room. He knew that with a little bit of paint, a hammer and nails and a lot of elbow grease,  the room could be turned into a viable area of the Restore and thus add to the showroom area and ultimately provide for more sales.
The pictures here show Josh's work. NOHFH Restore is the proud recipients of Josh's Eagle Scout Project. Thank you Josh!
