MEET OUR NEWEST FAMILY

When the family selection committee announced to our newest Partner family that they were selected, tears were flowing everywhere. It was a long process from the day that Maria's mother saw a flyer announcing the search for a new family hanging in the Lowe's break room.

The new family includes Mom - Maria Romano who works for a program for handicapped adults. Dad, is Arvie Lawson. He drives a truck for Waste Management and commutes to Camden everyday for his job. They have three boys - Dante, a fifth grader, Domenick who is in second grade and DeAngelo who just turned two.

Maria and Arvie are surrounded by a supportive family who live in Manchester. That makes it easier for Maria, who drives by the lot everyday to check on the progress of her new house and dreams of the day the five of them will be living in a home of their own!
