Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity will be hosting the first annual “BIKE TO BUILD” on Sunday November 1st. Sponsored by Beachwood Bicycles, the event will begin at 9 o’clock at the store located at 101 Highway 166 Beachwood, NJ 08722.

Two different rides will be available for participants. The first is a beautiful 23 mile ride along the Toms River and Barnegat Bay.

The second ride is 35 miles and includes a ride through the scenic Pinelands.

Both rides will finish at the site of Habitat’s newest house which is being constructed at 326 Ship Ave. in Beachwood.

Designed to attract the expert and novice alike, this event offers a Sunday filled with beautiful scenery. Pre and post ride refreshments will be served. The ride is rain or shine and mechanical support will be provided, as well as rest stops. Helmets must be worn.

Registration is $23.00 for the 23 mile ride, $35.00 for the longer ride. To be guaranteed a t-shirt, registration must be done by October 23rd.
